Ripley High School choir students spending their day rehearsing with the Jackson Symphony for the concert Saturday evening. They will be singing along with students from the University of Martin and The University School of Jackson. The concert will be at the Carl Perkins Civic Center Saturday night at 7:30. They will be performing Beethoven’s 9th Symphony.

Students in Ms. Echol's geometry class worked in groups to build a free-standing tower. The tallest tower that could stand by itself would win.
Students were studying triangles and how they are the strongest shape to use in construction.

Students in Nursing Education, along with Mr. Howard, practiced putting on an isolation gown and gloves today. Students practiced this in order to care for a patient who needs to have their urinary drainage bag emptied.


Students in Health Science reinforced their knowledge of the digestive system and explored the concept of simulation by developing pill coating that can withstand the churning actions and acidic environment found in the stomach.



Mrs. Ferguson's class studied igneous rocks and volcanoes last week during class. They spent some class time outside making paper volcanoes and watching them erupt.





It's an active Friday in the gym and CTE building today! Students are playing kickball (featuring Ms. Dixon), drawing small animal anatomy diagrams, sketching artwork, and developing Google Slides presentations. #GoTigers #ALLIN

RHS's Football Players and Cheerleaders were invited to RPS on Sept. 20 and 21 for National Child Passenger Safety Week.
Players and Cheerleaders greeted students and escorted them to the building.
