TN Governor's Schools--Students can explore major fields of interest through the Governor's Schools during the summer after their 10th or 11th grade year. Application deadlines vary by schools. The descriptions, applications, and deadlines can be found at http://tn.gov/education/govschools/
Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) is the nation's foremost youth leadership development organization. A 10th grade student is nominated to attend the spring event.
The RHS guidance office has two full-time counselors and a graduation coach to help students in personal, academic, and career issues. Students can make appointments or just drop-in as needed. Parents/families/guardians are welcome to contact us with any concerns they have for their student, even if that concern is not necessarily school related. Make sure to check the calendar regularly for important dates that pertain to juniors and seniors specifically in preparing for graduation, as well as underclassmen testing information.
Juniors and Seniors should contact Ms. Samantha Crihfield.
Sophomores and Freshmen should contact Mrs. Leah Hay.
