
The winners of the Lauderdale County Soil and Water Conservation District 2021 post contest were announced. Students at Ripley Middle School submitted digital submissions using Google Docs as their platform. They learned ways to manipulate text and images while participating in a community effort. All students who submitted work will have their work displayed throughout the community during the annual tree giveaway in March. The winners of the contest were:

Several LCS students volunteered at tonight’s Bags of Hope sponsored by local area churches. Bags of Hope has provided non-perishable food to families in Lauderdale County for over ten years.
During a season of thanksgiving, LCS is proud to have students like DeePan, Maitri, Mira, and Riley who place others first. Way to exemplify servant leadership!





SCA completed its annual Thanksgiving scavenger hunt today. SCA collected food to feed 4 RHS families.

Ripley High School’s RTI team hosted a popcorn and soda social hour for students in grades 9th - 12th who have modeled good behavior since school started in August. These students have not received a discipline referral at all! Way to go Tigers! #AllIn

are diving into ELA Curriculum Guidebooks. Students are analyzing the play of Romeo and Juliet and the film version of Romeo and Juliet to explore the question: How can adaptations or reproductions enhance or detract from the theme of a text?

Art students completed a drawing activity where they had to draw for 3 minutes and pass their drawing. The next student would add to the drawing and so until you had your paper. Students ended by sharing the a story of their drawing.
