Report Cards will be sent home with students today. Students will receive them in their third block class.
TNReady Testing will begin Monday, April 8. Biology will test Monday. English will test Tuesday through Thursday.

8th grade tour of Criminal Justice and Fine Arts at RHS
8th graders from RMS toured the RHS campus today. They were able to see the many CTE and fine arts programs available to register for in the future. We welcome our new Tigers!!
Sam, RHS Senior, received the Governor's Volunteer Star Award in recognition of commitment to his community and volunteerism. Sam has been involved in numerous organizations and events, including Bags of Hope, Lauderdale Co Tomato Festival, and AWARE.
Students in Biology, Physical Science, and Algebra 1 will take common assessments today in class. Please help us give these students a quiet and positive testing environment and hold any necessary check outs to class change times.

Tomorrow is the last chance to pay your deposit for your 2019 yearbook. There will be no extras ordered. If you don’t pay a deposit you will not have a yearbook. The deposit amount is $25 total price is $65.
Tomorrow at 5:30 pm Ripley High School will hold a parent meeting about registration for upcoming sophomore, junior, and senior students for the 2019-2020 school year. The meeting will be held in the theater. Counselors, graduation coach, and dual enrollment coordinator will be present to answer any questions. Please make plans to attend we hope to see you there!
Do our phones create too much distraction?
In Mrs. Parmenter's Senior Chemistry 2 class students were asked to turn on their notifications and turn up the volume on their phones. They made a mark every time They were interrupted. Mrs. Parmenter wanted to demonstrate how many times they are interrupted by their cellular devices. This was the result of 13 students and one teacher in one class period.

RHS Parents, your student must make a $25.00 deposit this year to be able to receive the 2019 yearbook. No extra copies will be ordered to sell afterwards. We will order what the students pay for or put down a deposit for only!

Students and staff participated in the LifeBlood Blood Drive today. We are always proud to help our community with blood donations.
