
Friday night was Senior night for RHS Football, Cheer, and Band. Senior players, cheerleaders, and band members were recognized for all of their hard work over their high school years.




Mrs. Hawkins 2nd block read practiced “teaching reading” to Mrs. Angel’s class. They also spent some time building relationships and sharing their Crumpled Pumpkin stories





Students and Staff had a fun time dressed up for Halloween yesterday.

The Choir concert Tuesday night was fantastic! The students got to show off their hard work and provide great entertainment for the community. Thank you to everyone who came to enjoy.


HOSA Students and Advisors toured Jackson State Community College Nursing and Allied Health Programs today. Areas included nursing, respiratory therapy, phlebotomy, physical therapy, laboratory technician, & radiological technician


Herff Jones representative came to speak to RHS Seniors about ordering caps and gowns and Senior items. Students were given packets to shop from as well as ordering information. Order date is November 13th during the student’s lunch time. A minimum deposit of $80.00 is due that day.


Mrs. Nelms' biology students made DNA candy models to view the structure and base pairing rules of DNA.





Friday, RHS Band performed a show in honor of our local veterans and thanking them for their service to our country. The band did a wonderful job of celebrating and honoring these special people in our community. We would like to thank all veterans for their service.



Big Win for the Tigers Friday night over Millington 10-0. That puts the Tigers at 5-4 on the year with the final regular season contest this Friday night at Tiny Knee Stadium vs. the Lake County Falcons. Come pack the stands and support YOUR TIGERS!

The RHS Football Cheerleaders and I are so sorry to inform the little ones cheering with us tonight that because of the weather we will have to postpone cheering until next weeks game against Lake County! We will still meet at the field next week at 6:40! For those that did not pick up shirts yesterday I will have those Friday at the game! We look forward to seeing you all next Friday night!!

Any student interested in taking a dual enrollment course next semester you must have the required ACT score. You will need to register for the December test deadline for registration is November 8. Cost is $52 see guidance if you have more questions.

Students in Mrs Coulston's Agri-science class presented projects over different ecosystems they have been covering in class.

Leadership Lauderdale came today to speak to 11th grade students at RHS about joining Youth Leadership Lauderdale. This is a community leadership program designed to help students develop their potential and learn about opportunities here in Lauderdale County. Students have this week to apply to become part of Youth Leadership.
