HOMECOMING ROYALTY NOMINATIONS SHOULD BE MADE BY NOON ON TUESDAY, SEPT 22, AND VOTING FROM THE FINAL BALLOT WILL OCCUR BY 3:00 THURSDAY, SEPT 24TH. COURT WILL BE ANNOUNCED FRIDAY THE 25TH. ALL TSHIRT ORDERS NEED TO BE PLACED BY WEDNESDAY, SEPT 23RD AT 3:00. WE ARE LIMITED TO ACTIVITIES THAT CAN OCCUR DURING HOMECOMING WEEK WHICH WILL BE THE WEEK OF SEPT 28TH. Important: Families seeking to return from remote to in-person learning for the 2nd 9 weeks, or to sign up for remote learning for the first time, should do so by noon on Sept. 25. These changes should be made by calling your child's school between Sept. 21-25 from 8:30am-2:30pm.

Seniors, there are incentives to raising your ACT score beyond the fact that a higher score helps you with college! Raise your score by 2 points from previous score and you will be awarded with an off campus lunch, meet your prediction and have refreshments and social get together in the gym, meet all benchmarks and receive FREE couple prom tickets! Don't forget ACT test day is September 22nd!

Students attending in person will receive their progress reports to take home today!

College App Week September 21 - 25 During College App Week the counseling department will work with seniors to complete college applications. Drawings will be held for students that apply to college. We encourage all students to participate in dress up days and conversations about college! See the flyer for dress up days!

Beginning tomorrow, September 15th, remote student's progress reports will be available for pick up between 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Good afternoon, Dyer County called and informed me this afternoon that they will have to cancel the football game for tomorrow night September 11, 2020. If you have already purchased a ticket it will be honored at the Sept 25th game against Covington. We all understand the importance of our athletes safety even if it is our opponents. LCS will remain on the odd/even day schedule through at least Fall break. This schedule has assisted in limiting the spread of COVID and has allowed schools to remain open. A decision about the schedule beyond Fall break will be announced by October 2.
