The National Weather Service has suggested that the potential for pop-up storms ahead of the line has increased. As a precaution, all Lauderdale County Schools will dismiss 30 minutes earlier than usual today.
Due to forecasted weather conditions, all after school activities have been cancelled for Wednesday, April 2nd. We are actively monitoring this situation and will communicate any additional cancellations through both our social media channels and our Lauderdale County Schools app.

Bus 18 students will be riding on bus 53 today and tomorrow. This may cause some students on these bus routes to arrive home later than normal. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
The Lauderdale County Board of Education will be employing a new Director of Schools/Superintendent. The Tennessee School Boards Association will be assisting the local School Board in this process. Please click on the link below to access an online survey where you may share your thoughts on the issues and challenges facing our school system and the new Director. Please share your expectations of the new Director and indicate the leadership skills needed to effectively serve Lauderdale County Schools. This survey will close at noon on April 2, 2025. For the Love of Reading Night will be held at HES on March 44th from 5:30-6:30 pm.

As a result of the winter weather warning issued by the National Weather Service, there will be no school in Lauderdale County on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Please stay safe and warm during this winter weather event!
Due to forecasted weather conditions, all after-school activities are canceled for Tues.,February 18th. This includes Project LEAD and after-school tutoring. Impacted students will be dismissed at the end of the school day using their usual afternoon transportation method.

Bus 53 will start running again tomorrow. There will be 1 am load and 2 pm loads as usual. The am and pm pick up/drop off times should remain the same. Notes are going home with those students today.
The St. Jude Mathathon is back! This is a fun way for students to sharpen their math skills and support a great cause! Notes will be sent home with your student soon. This fundraiser will end on Friday, Feb. 21st. We would love for all fundraising to happen online if possible.
