Parent-teacher conferences will be held at RMS on October 20th and 22nd from 4-7pm. If you would like to schedule a conference (virtual, phone, or in-person) with your child's teacher, please complete the request through the link here (https://forms.gle/m8qmqPeRkHh3bNa97) by Tuesday, October 13th at 3:00 p.m. Teachers will then send home information with your confirmed appointment time. RMS Tiger Club is collecting orders for dress code approved jackets. The first order will be placed on Friday, October 16th. IT'S COLLEGE APPLICATION WEEK! This week focuses on building excitement and increasing knowledge about the college application process at all grade-levels. It also provides every graduating senior with an opportunity to apply to college. Students are encouraged to wear their favorite college t-shirt this Wednesday (for odd day students) and this Thursday (for even day students).

Important: Families seeking to return from remote to in-person learning for the 2nd 9 weeks, or to sign up for remote learning for the first time, should do so by noon on Sept. 25. These changes should be made by calling your child's school between Sept. 21-25 from 8:30am-2:30pm.

Remote learning orientations are underway at RMS! Families attended small group sessions earlier this week to learn more about remote learning expectations and accessing educational programs. Our final remote learning orientation will be held on Monday, September 14 from 5:00-6:00PM. For families planning to attend the orientation, you may bring a device from home to use. Demonstration devices will also be available for use during orientation. Devices will also be distributed to students who indicated the need during the application process. For Monday night’s orientation, families are asked to park in the rear parking lot (near the gym) and enter from the bus entrance. As a reminder, all academic packets that have been assigned for RMS remote students are due by Friday, September 18.

RMS will host remote learning orientation sessions next week. It is vital for students and parents to be in attendance as we will review how to access educational programs and complete assignments. Families with more than one RMS remote learner may choose one session to attend for all students. Families are asked to bring devices from home, if available, to use during the orientation. Demonstration devices will be available for those who need them. Academic packets from this week should be turned in during orientation sessions. No academic packets will be collected on Tuesday, September 8. All previously assigned academic packets should be turned in by Friday, September 18. After this date, no academic packets will be collected or graded.
