Due to current ground saturation from recent heavy rainfall, combined with rising river levels and the forecast of additional flash flooding overnight, Lauderdale County Schools will be closed on Friday, April 4, 2025. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but the safety of our students and staff is our top priority. The ongoing weather event can create hazardous travel conditions. Please stay safe and avoid any unnecessary travel if possible. Have a great evening!

Paraprofessional Appreciation Day!
The National Weather Service has suggested that the potential for pop-up storms ahead of the line has increased. As a precaution, all Lauderdale County Schools will dismiss 30 minutes earlier than usual today.
Due to forecasted weather conditions, all after school activities have been cancelled for Wednesday, April 2nd. We are actively monitoring this situation and will communicate any additional cancellations through both our social media channels and our Lauderdale County Schools app.

Reminder: dance tickets go on sale this week! In order to purchase a ticket, students must have their IDs and be clear of any fees/fines. Please ensure that students bring their money and ID with them to school; we do not accept drop-offs. 🙂

The Lauderdale County Board of Education will be employing a new Director of Schools/Superintendent. The Tennessee School Boards Association will be assisting the local School Board in this process. Please share your expectations of the new Director and indicate the leadership skills needed to effectively serve Lauderdale County Schools. This survey will close at noon on April 2, 2025.
