Mrs. Goforth worked with Katie, Jacee, Quantavin, and Jordan to balance chemical equations during their group practice activity. 7th grade Science students will continue to balance these types of equations this week in class.
Sixth grade students will participate in Move2Stand tomorrow, Sept. 11. Move2Stand challenges students to examine their attitudes toward bullying and fosters a respectful school community.
Congratulations to our newly re-elected school board members who were recently sworn in for another four year term by Maurice Gaines, County Mayor.

This week, RMS students will participate in the anti-bullying program, Move2Stand. This assembly is designed to train students on making a positive impact on their school and community. Students will attend by grade level.

6th grade Student Council applications are due tomorrow, August 23, by 3PM. They may be turned in to Mr. James Barbee or Mrs. Karie Arthur.
Class ring presentations for 7th graders will be on Thursday, August 23 at 7:30AM. This will take place in the cafeteria. Deposits are due Wednesday, August 29.
The Lauderdale County Community Pep Rally for Fall sports will be held on Thursday, August 30, from 6:30-7:30pm after the opening ceremony of the Lauderdale County Fair. Entrance to the Fair is free so come out and support your Halls and Ripley Tigers!
