These dedicated students were entered into a drawing, where names were selected to receive free gifts and prizes. She is pictured here with some of our 7th grade winners!

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! Here is a sneak peek of what our teachers have in store. Please send a thank you to the teachers who have made a difference in the lives of your students!

Lauderdale County Schools Coordinated School Health Director Michelle Brazier would like to extend sincere thanks to the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and the Tennessee College of Applied Technology LPN students for providing free sports physicals to students at Ripley Middle School and Ripley High School.
To date, over 100 student-athletes have received physicals, with additional clinics scheduled at Ripley Middle School later this month. Lauderdale County Schools greatly appreciates these valued community partners who go above and beyond to ensure our students are healthy, safe, and ready to participate in athletics.

Congratulations to Eden G. and Lauren M.! These two student athletes will move on to participate in the State Track & Field Competition in Knoxville on May 18. This is the 10th consecutive year RMS Track & Field has competed in the State Competition. Kudos to our dedicated coaches, Tracy Halliburton and Anthony Barbee. Great job, Tigers!!!

Grace Baptist Church made a significant contribution to the RMS clothes closet. Not only did Grace's congregation supply a large number of items, but also our most needed items. RMS Counselors, Mrs. Hearn & Ms. Jones, are thankful for community partners who take the time to make a difference in the lives of our children.

Ripley Middle School Track and Field competed in the Regionals for AA Division today in Dyersburg. This meet qualifies athletes to participate in the Sectionals at Bartlett next Thursday.
