In honor of Fire Prevention Week, October 7-13, 2018, the Halls Fire Department spoke to PreK, Kindergarten, and First Grade students at HES about the importance of having a safety plan and a working fire detector. Time to check your batteries and replace non-working detectors!

HES kindergarten students are examining art to identify the most important details by creating a tableaux and talking with peers. They are also integrating foundational skills by labeling important details!
