White

Mrs. Teresa White has been selected to serve as the Director of Elementary and Middle Learning for Lauderdale County Schools. Mrs. White has a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership, which she obtained in May of 2013 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education that she earned in May of 1986. Mrs. White is a lifelong resident of Lauderdale County and is also a graduate of Ripley High School.

Mrs. White has faithfully served Lauderdale County Schools for a total of 36 years in various roles, most recently as the Principal of Ripley Elementary School for the last 9 years. She began her career in Lauderdale County as a First Grade Teacher in 1986 and transitioned to Second Grade in 2002. During that time, she was selected as Teacher of the Year for Ripley Primary.

Mrs. White later served as an Instructional Coach and Curriculum Coordinator before becoming the Principal at Ripley Elementary School in 2013. She has successfully lead Ripley Elementary School while assisting with several other initiatives within the district.  Her leadership at Ripley Elementary school, along with the work of her faculty and staff, have earned Ripley Elementary recognition throughout the state and even on a national level.  Mrs. White is a passionate educator and is determined to do whatever is needed to give all of our students the quality education they deserve.
