LCS has officially released the revised 2026–2027 school calendar and the newly created 2027–2028 school calendar! The revisions to the 2026–2027 calendar include designated Early Student Release Days, which will allow LCS staff dedicated time to examine student data and further drive meaningful, targeted instruction to support student success.
These calendars are developed through a collaborative process that includes valuable teacher and community input, with initial drafts created by a calendar committee. The proposed calendars are then reviewed and officially approved by the School Board. The School Board approved both calendars at their March 2026 meeting.
