Students in Mrs.Carter’s math class are using the area model as well as the standard algorithm to solve math problems this morning.
Congratulations to gift card winner, Mrs. Leslie Carter. Mrs. Carter is a fifth grade math teacher at RES. Each month, a staff member's name is drawn from "shout outs" that are given by coworkers throughout the month.

Lots of student engagement this morning in Mrs. Kristin’s Math Class as they worked to estimate and measure liquid volume in liters and milliliters. As they made a beaker, one student said “we are scientists!”
