RES teachers were surprised with big bags of school supplies Friday morning. A HUGE thanks to Ripley First Methodist for donating supplies for all of our teachers!

Ms. Kathy shared her knowledge of quilting with Mrs. Melissa’s homeroom today. The students were able to make real life connections with the book we have been reading “The Keeping Quilt.”
Top 5 Zearn Students from Mrs. Rogers’ Math classes enjoyed pizza party, sodas, and popsicles today.
Mrs White made rounds to staff today with the “Pick Me Up” Cart. RES has the best teachers & staff!! “You are the chocolate to our chip & cookie to our milk. We couldn’t do it without you! Thank you for being a part of our team!”
Among parents and other community members, Mr. Samuel C. Lee visited our Wax Museum for African American History Month. Mr. Lee was the last principal of Lauderdale High School which closed in 1969. He was also the principal of Durhamville Elementary School and Johnson Consolidated as interim principal. Mr. Lee is also a WWII Veteran. Thanks to all that dropped in today!
