Sixth grade students in Mrs. Hunt’s and Mrs. Sanders’ classrooms enjoyed wearing green for Dr. Seuss Week!

Students at Halls Elementary enjoyed country ham and green eggs. Mrs. Angie Carmack’s class discovered that most of the students liked green eggs and ham after they graphed the “likes and dislikes!”
They watched an animated version of the book and enjoyed their teacher reading the book to them later on in the day.

Great Job to Tessa for representing HES in the County Spelling Bee!

Read Across America posters were judged today by our Superintendent, Mr. Kimble, Mrs. Donna Moore, and Sadie, our Literacy Dog!!!

Halls Elementary Phys. Ed. students were seen here having a great time moving with Go Noodle and then followed it up with a walk/run to keep moving. Students are also setting fitness goals and tracking their own progress as they see improvement in their fitness.

Members of the Lauderdale County Superintendent's Study Council recently spent time in our community marketing our school district's mobile app. Thanks to the council and also to the many members of our community who allowed us to place posters in their buildings. Thank you!
