Spring Pictures will be take on March 12th. Your child may dress out of dress code if they take pictures that day.

Save the Children will have a celebration of Dr. Seuss’s birthday on Saturday at Curve Community Center from 10-2. That address is 125 Curve Nankipoo Road. Door prizes, free food, story time, and other vendors!!!

HES had a few winners at the Lauderdale County Soil Conservation District Annual awards banquet! Great job!

A message from the library...


Congratulations to Hayden for winning 2nd Place in the County-wide Spelling Bee! Way to represent Halls Elementary!


“For the Love of Reading” is tonight at 6!


Mrs. Hunt's 6th graders celebrated "Hats off to Dr. Seuss!"


"The Cat in the Hat" is where it's at!!!! Abbey represented Dr. Seuss well!!!


HES had a nice selection of posters for the Read Across America poster contest. Congratulations to our winners!!!!


Sixth grade students in Mrs. Hunt’s and Mrs. Sanders’ classrooms enjoyed wearing green for Dr. Seuss Week!


Students at Halls Elementary enjoyed country ham and green eggs. Mrs. Angie Carmack’s class discovered that most of the students liked green eggs and ham after they graphed the “likes and dislikes!”
They watched an animated version of the book and enjoyed their teacher reading the book to them later on in the day.





Great Job to Tessa for representing HES in the County Spelling Bee!


Read Across America posters were judged today by our Superintendent, Mr. Kimble, Mrs. Donna Moore, and Sadie, our Literacy Dog!!!
