Reading “S’more!” 7th grade students that completed the Mystery Reading Challenge for the first 9 weeks were rewarded on Friday with some fun fall activities. The reading challenge for the 2nd 9 weeks involves books from World War II aligning with Wit and Wisdom Module 2.




Next up, hot ticket time! Students who earned hot tickets this week got to wear an out of dress code top on Friday, and enjoyed some time away from class watching a movie in the gym and getting some time to talk.



The first event of the day on Friday...AR Party! Students who earned 20 or more AR points for the 1st 9-wks were rewarded with a Skeleton Scavenger Hunt around campus followed by a breakfast buffet. Mrs. Pipkin always comes up with fun and creative rewards for our students!

Report Cards went home today!

Students in Ms. Laura Webb's science classes worked on speed and acceleration during a "Walking Dead" lab on Friday October 14 and Monday Oct 17. Students observed, gathered data, and created graphs to analyze the speed and acceleration of our "zombie" walkers!




Fall Picture Orders

Today in STEM we learned about the history of electricity and lighting. We learned the components of circuits and the difference between direct current and alternating current.


RMS Students were rewarded with Hot Tickets today if they have been present at school all day and on time every day this week! Ask your student if they received one. If so, they get to wear an out of dress code top on Friday, 10/14/22. If your student didn't get a ticket this week, we will have lots more opportunities for Hot Tickets in the future!
