September is National College Savings Month! Tennessee State Treasurer, David H. Lillard, Jr., shared the importance of starting to save for college, now! He also announced a coloring contest and a piggy bank give-away! State Representative, Chris Hurt, presented a school proclamation to Mr. Campbell and presented a $250 scholarship to one lucky student! Congratulations HES and kindergartner, Tabitha!!!
Mrs. Carolyn Simpson with the Lauderdale County Fair delivered goody bags to grade-level winners that participated in the fair coloring book contest this year.

HHS Seniors are going “20 for 20!” All seniors have been challenged to increase their ACT scores by one point! This would raise the school's average to "20" for the first time ever!
