Tomorrow, February 1 is Tiger time. Students without bus notes and office referrals will get to enjoy free time during their speciality time. Snack and drinks are 50¢ each and students may bring a towel and a toy (no weapons or electronics).


We appreciate our local school board members for their commitment and dedication to ensure our school’s success!


Animaland is coming to RPS, February 14. Students can stuff their own collectible animal and help our school at the same time. Be on the look out because order forms are being sent home in Tuesday folders.

Students may be out of dress code, Friday, January 25 if they bring $1 to purchase a dress code pass. Proceeds go to the RPS Field Day Fund.

RPS students performed in the Most Recognized Program Friday, January 18 honoring students for their academic achievement during the second nine weeks. Kindergarten, first grade, and second grade students enjoyed performing the black light hand mime routine to Justin Timberlake’s song “Mirrors” as they mirrored hand movement by Mrs. Rachel.


Lauderdale County Schools will be closed January 21 for MLK Day.
