Congratulations to our 2019 Lauderdale County Teachers of the Year. Thank you to Bank of Ripley and members of the Lauderdale County Board of Education for honoring these teachers at last night board meeting.
PTO will be taking Easter Pictures April 4 and 5. The pictures will cost $5. Students will be allowed to dress out of dress code on the day of their picture. Order forms are coming home today in Tuesday folders (with report cards).

Lots of shoppers at the Book Fair tonight at RPS!
RPS is wrapping up their first session of a new program called Journey of Hope. This programs offers students the opportunity to better normalize their emotions and develop positive coping strategies through cooperative play, creative arts and literature. The curriculum deals with fear, anxiety, sadness, anger and aggression, bullying and self-esteem.

RPS Book Fair will be March 11 - 15. Most paperback books cost $3.30 and smencils cost $1.00. Family Night will be March 14 from 5:00 - 6:30.

RPS celebrated Read Across America Week February 25 - March 1. Friday was "Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss" and students wore green to honor Dr. Seuss.
Tiger Time is March 1. Snacks (chips, candy, drinks) will be available for 50¢. All students without bus write-ups or pink slips are invited to this event.
Read Across America Week: Friday - “HaPpY Birthday, Dr. Seuss!”. Students are ask to wear green in honor of Dr. Seuss. (Students may be out of dress code if they have on green.)
