Back to School Dance Sept 6


Back to School Dance Friday, Sept. 6th


5th grade students have been learning about how the U.S westward expansion impacted Native American cultures in the west. This week they presented their group paragraphs from their research of the Nez Perce’s culture in Mrs.Kelli Tidwell’s class.


Students in PE are working on an activity called Toxic Waste to focus on cooperation, strategy, and communication.


Students in Mr. Buckner’s Science classes have studied the design process this week. On Friday, they applied their knowlege by designing a blueprint and building a tower out of marshmallows and noodles.


Students in Mrs. Weller’s science classes participated in an experiment using engineering and the design process. They worked together to sketch, plan, build, and improve their prototype of a tower. They constructed towers with marshmallows and spaghetti noodles.


Mrs. Melissa’s homeroom participating in a Socratic seminar about “Why do artists explore the sea?”


Wednesday, August 28th is the deadline to order this year’s READ 20 shirt. These shirts can be worn every Monday by students and staff. Ask your teacher or the front office for an order form. Thank you for supporting literacy in Lauderdale County!
