In recognition of American Heart Association's Go Red! Day, several RMS students were trained to administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation, also known as CPR. This life-saving practice includes calling 9-1-1 for medical assistance, checking if the person is breathing, and administering chest compressions to pump blood around a person's body. Students who were trained were given certificates to indicate that they are CPR certified by the American Heart Association. Ms. Michelle Brazier, Coordinated School Heath Director, conducted today's training.
