student registration

Student registration for the 2021-2022 school year is rapidly approaching! Be sure to review the scheduled dates and times to visit schools for registration documents.

Families with students entering Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten this fall should have completed registration in Spring 2021. If you have not had the opportunity to complete Pre-K or Kindergarten registration, please contact your zoned school as soon as possible to schedule a registration appointment (Ripley Primary – (731) 635-0691 or Halls Elementary – (731) 836-9651).

Those new to Lauderdale County will need to attend New Student Registration on Tuesday, July 20, from 8:30AM-12:00PM. In order to register as a Lauderdale County student, the following items are needed:

-       Two proofs of residence

-       Tennessee Health Card

-       Social Security Card

-       Birth Certificate

-       Records from previous school(s)

-       Proof of Custody (if applicable)

At this time, schools will reopen in Phase A at full capacity and following a traditional/normal school schedule and calendar. As infection rates continue to be updated, Lauderdale County Schools will monitor and review data to make phase transitions, if necessary.

The COVID-19 Health and Safety Framework for Schools provides a roadmap for Lauderdale County Schools to return to normal operation while the COVID-19 pandemic exists. It outlines necessary steps to safely reopen and operate schools in the 2021-2022 school year. Essential actions that must be taken will be detailed within each of three school operating scenarios. This guide is based on the most up-to-date public health recommendations given at this time. It does not, however, constitute medical advice, and it will need to be adapted in real time as the pandemic continues to evolve.
