Students from Ripley Middle and Halls Junior High represented Lauderdale County at the FutureStar Leadership Summit at UTM! These students visited college departments, participated in leadership exercises, and heard a motivational speaker.

Lauderdale AWARE hosted their biannual Culture and Compassion Retreat this weekend at Lakeshore Camp in Eva, TN. Students from both Ripley and Halls discussed how to overcome prejudice, stereotypes, discrimination, and negative labels through showing compassion, vulnerability, and establishing genuine relationships. Lauderdale County students described the experience as transformational and healing.

Family/Teacher conferences will be held Thursday, September 12 and Tuesday, September 17 from 4:00-7:00. Our annual Title meeting will be held tomorrow at 9:00 or 5:00 for those that can attend.

HJH - After school LEAD students were excited to follow the steps in a process to make bracelets and necklaces after working on homework!


HJH 8th graders answered this question for their exit ticket -“What are ways that all circuits are similar?” They posted their answers on the door at the end of class!
