update

IMPORTANT:  In regard to COVID-19 quarantines, the TN Department of Health just confirmed that TN will follow new CDC guidance. From this point forward, anyone who has to quarantine as a result of exposure to a non-household contact will only have to quarantine for a maximum of 10 days. If the quarantined individual has a rapid COVID test on the 7th day and the results are negative, that person will be off of quarantine beginning day 8. If no test is taken on day 7, then the quarantined individual may return to normal activity after the 10th day if no symptoms are present. Close household contacts could still be quarantined for a total of 17-20 days.

LCS will begin adhering to this guidance as it was passed along today from the TN Department of Health. Additional guidance will be posted by TDH and CDC in the coming days. We know there will be many questions regarding currently quarantined students and employees. Please be patient as we work to notify individuals regarding their current quarantine status throughout the rest of the week.
