Mrs. Glenda Booker has been selected as the new Director of Human Resources for Lauderdale County Schools. Mrs. Booker was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, where she graduated from East Bay High School, in Gibsonton, FL. After high school, she started working as an Administrative Assistant for a growing construction company, where she dedicated over 24 years learning all aspects of administration, business operations, human resources, and office management.
Mrs. Booker and her family relocated to Halls, TN last year, to be closer to family. She is married to Mr. Matthew Booker who is a 1999 graduate of Halls High School. They have two sons who are enrolled in Halls and are looking forward to them being 4th generation Halls High School graduates.
Mrs. Booker joined our team in November and took on the role of HR Generalist. Throughout her time with Lauderdale County, Mrs. Booker quickly displayed a strong work ethic and a professional commitment to assisting our Lauderdale County staff. She is passionate and determined to do whatever is needed to give our staff the quality attention they deserve.
