PRINCIPAL

Mrs. Amy Morgan
Mrs. Morgan has served as an educator in the public school system for the past 33 years. In the first 20 years of her career, Mrs. Morgan served as a high school teacher and taught various science courses including Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, and Biology. In addition, Mrs. Morgan taught ACT Prep and was the chairperson of the School Improvement Committee and Coordinator of Student Activities. After that, she served as an Assistant Principal for 8 years at Dyersburg Primary School. She is in her 6th year as the Principal of Halls High School.
Mrs. Morgan received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1991 and her Master of Educational Leadership degree in 2002 from Trevecca Nazarene University.

ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

Mr. Richard Dawson
Mr. Dawson is a lifelong resident of Halls, a graduate of HHS, and is extremely active in the Halls community. After teaching at Halls Elementary School for 14 years, Mr. Dawson joined HHS at the beginning of the 2021-22 school year and has done an outstanding job as a Special Education Leader, Athletic Director and Assistant Principal. He is dedicated to this school and the children of this community. He currently serves as the Assistant Principal for the Class of 2025 and 2026.

ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

Dr. Kasey Warren
Dr. Kasey Warren is the Assistant Principal for the Class of 2027 and 2028. This is her 4th year at HHS. Previously, she served as a Dean of Students and an Assistant Principal for Metro Nashville Public Schools in Nashville, TN for four years. She has a background in leadership, mathematics, and school intervention programs. In her 16 years as an educator in Tennessee, Warren has served a variety of school communities. She works intently to create relationships with staff and students as well as collaborating with parents and community members to continue the strong work in place at Halls High School.
