Coach Jason Curtis

Halls High School is proud to announce that Jason Curtis has been named as the new head coach for the Tiger football program.  Coach Curtis has been on staff as the defensive coordinator, special teams, and has led the strength and conditioning program this school year. 

Coach Curtis brings twenty years of coaching experience to this position having served as an offensive, special teams and defensive coordinator, as well as offensive line coach. His experience includes working on staff at both Cordova and Arlington high schools building their initial programs, coaching Arlington to a three-season 29-5 record. He was the offensive line coach for Brighton High School in 2013 for their appearance at the state playoffs. He has a history of preparing his players to play at the collegiate level as well as two players who played in the National Football League. Coach Curtis played football at the University of Memphis from 1995-1998 in the positions of offensive guard and long snapper.

Coach Curtis has been leading the off-season conditioning program for Halls High School and Halls Junior High School where players have made great strides increasing their strength in preparation for next season. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Wellness and Sports Science from the University of Memphis, and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Trevecca University.
