Twenty students were recently inducted as members of the Ripley Middle School Jr. Beta Club. National Beta recognizes high achievement, promotes character and social responsibility, encourages service involvement to school and community, fosters leadership skills, and provides settings for students to develop interpersonal relationship skills. Ms. Tonia Estes, Jr. Beta Sponsor, shared that these students have exemplified the characteristics for membership and they are pleased to include them in the organization.
The Induction Ceremony was held on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at Ripley Middle School. Mr. Michael Bursey, Jr. Beta Technology Director, created a slide presentation of the club’s projects and activities. The officers carried out the Induction Ceremony which was facilitated by Makala N, Jr. Beta President. Ja’Ziah T recited an original poem, entitled, “Spring Testing.”
