The 2019-2020 Boys basketball team, under the guidance of head coach Lonnie Starks has qualified for the Region 8-AA tournament after finishing fourth in district play. Led by 1000- point club member Andre Banks the Tigers traveled to Haywood on February 17, 2020 and beat the Tomcats 79-72. Ripley then fell short to Covington February 21st and Fayette-Ware on February 24th. The Tigers will travel to host Wooddale, the number one overall and tournament host, on Saturday night February 29, 2020. With a victory against Wooddale on Saturday night, Ripley would return to Wooddale to compete in the semi-finals.
