Twenty-Three members of the Jr. Beta Club attended the State Convention which was held November 23-25. Congratulations to Marleigh Hawks who placed third in the state for Creative Writing. Students had 90 minutes to write a 200-500 word paper about a topic assigned at the beginning of the competition. Great job, Marleigh!
The RMS Jr. Beta Club also received the GOLD key Award for conference attendance and growth. Hats off to the students who competed at the State Convention and to all attendees for outstanding behavior. Ripley Middle School was well represented.
