Top Tigers - Week of September 23

RMS seeks to reward students for outstanding excellence in scholarship, character, and leadership/service. This week, we will recognize our first “Top Tiger” students.

Students selected as Top Tigers have exhibited excellence in the following areas:

Scholarship

  • Brings materials
  • Completes work on time
  • Maintains high standards at own academic level
  • Assists fellow students in class

Character

  • Maintains a positive attitude
  • Respects and follows school guidelines
  • Sets a good example for fellow students
  • Is dependable
  • Is well-organized
  • Is respected by fellow students
  • Shows respect to peers and adults

Leadership and Service

  • Assumes leadership or support role in student groups and/or classroom
  • Viewed by peers as a leader

6th Grade- Cole H.

Our Grade 6 Top Tiger is Cole H. In his free time, Cole enjoys reading,
being outside, and playing baseball. Cole’s favorite subject in school
is English/Language Arts. When asked about his favorite part of middle
school, Cole said he enjoys the freedom that comes with middle school
and that there are more after school activities to be involved in.
Cole’s goal in the future is to become a doctor.

7th Grade- Akeelah A.

Our Grade 7 Top Tiger is Akeelah A. Akeelah enjoys drawing in her free
time. Her favorite subject in school is Science. When asked about her
favorite part of middle school, Akeelah said she enjoys that her
teachers don’t have to escort them around the building. Akeelah also
said she enjoys lunch. Akeelah’s goal in the future is to become a nurse
or model.

8th Grade- Larry C.

Our Grade 8 Top Tiger is Larry C. In his free timTe, Larry enjoys
playing sports and spending time with his peers. Larry’s favorite
subject in school is Science. When asked about his favorite part of
middle school, Larry said he enjoys playing basketball during PE and
lunch. Larry’s goal in the future is to become either a professional
basketball player or a dermatologist.
