The RMS Chess Club is proud to announce that club advisor Fred Strantz became champion of the 2019 Tennessee State Senior Chess Tournament held in Crossville, Tennessee, May 17-19. Mr. Strantz played five rounds of chess from Friday through Sunday and he was pitted against the best senior chess players from all across Tennessee. We are proud of Mr. Strantz and congratulate him for this great accomplishment.
