Ripley High School
Beta Club

The Ripley High School Beta Clubs are part of the National Beta Club, an organization designed to promote scholarship, leadership, and a positive mental attitude. Ripley High School's Senior Beta Club is for students in the tenth through twelfth grades and was founded in 1937. The Junior Beta Club is for students in the ninth grade and was founded in 2001.
Students selected for membership in the National Beta Club must meet the following qualifications: (a) worthy character, (b) good mentality, (c) creditable achievement, and (d) commendable attitude.
At Ripley High School, Senior and Junior Beta members must have at least a 90 overall average in challenging classes. They must also be recommended by their teachers.
Beta members participate in a variety of club activities and service projects.
