Welcome to the Personnel Section of Lauderdale County School System!
It is the goal of the Personnel section to recruit the best candidates available to impact the needs of our students, our schools and our communities. In doing this, it is our task to provide competent service, competitive pay and benefits, clear communication channels and a dedicated focus on our employees.
Our department consists of LaMar R. Bartlett, Director of Human Resources since June 2013. Mr. Bartlett comes to this position with over 10 years recruiting and personnel management experience.
Ms. Flora Morton has been with the school system for over 40 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the department. She is responsible for payroll and benefits administration for the district.
Mrs. Janet Ray comes to the Human Resources Department from the HES Cafeteria Manager's role. Mrs. Ray serves a dual role as the School Nutrition/Food Service HR Clerk for the district. She is responsible for the administrative tasks associated with the Food Service Department.
