Ripley Middle School Student Council sponsors the Carl Perkins Angel Tree at RMS each year. Parents and teachers take care of purchasing the gifts for the children RMS adopts. This year we were determined that TOGETHER the student body could make a difference in our community. If everyone can give just a bit, TOGETHER it will add up. Students were able to pay 25 cents to have their face painted for homecoming. Students could also pay $1 to wear a hat during the school day. Thanks to overwhelming student participation and supportive parents and staff, RMS is able to fully sponsor 7 children for the Carl Perkins Center for Christmas. RMS is also making a $100 cash donation for the center to help other children. GREAT JOB, Tigers! What a great service for our county!
