Ripley Middle School

On November 9, Ripley Middle School's 8th grade students were treated
to a presentation by Ripley High School's Junior ROTC. During the
presentation, students were informed about what Junior ROTC stands for
and the various programming opportunities that are available to them if
they were to join while at RHS. Some of these programs include drill
team, color guard, summer camps, and academic teams. RHS JROTC
participates in multiple competitions throughout the year, such as state
championships in Nashville. The students have an opportunity to join
JROTC as freshmen, regardless of GPA. The students even had the chance
to talk with real JROTC students about their experiences in the program.
