Thirty-four students and teachers from Ripley Middle School visited Washington D.C. at the beginning of their Spring Break. Their visit included tours of the United States Capitol, US Holocaust Memorial Museum, Arlington National Cemetery, and the Museum of African American History and Culture as well as other Smithsonian Institutions. Students also visited the Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam and Korean War Memorials, and the World War II Memorial. Although we missed the chance to see the cherry blossoms, it was a wonderful opportunity for the students of Ripley Middle School.
